PMP Certification course objectives
The objective of this course is to familiarise the delegates with the Project Management Institute (PMI) approach to managing projects, based upon their latest version of the PMI Body of Knowledge (Fourth Edition) and prepare for the PMP exam.
Who Should Attend / Pre-requisites
No specific qualifications or experience are required as the course will start from first principles, assuming no prior knowledge.
It would also be very appropriate for people new to the profession, or with limited, formal, project experience. The course will be conducted in English throughout.
Project Environment & Context, the structure of the Body of Knowledge (BOK), the 5 PMI Process Groups (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, Closing), the 9 PMI Knowledge Areas (Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Communication, Human Resources, Risk and Procurement), and how they interact with one another.
