This exercise involves comparing and contrasting the core project management processes in the APMP exam. These have very similar steps, but using slightly different names. Understanding the fundamental principles behind these processes can significantly help developing the mind map for the APMP exam. The core project control processes are:

  1. Change management
  2. Stakeholder Management
  3. Risk management
  4. Issue management
  5. Requirements management
  6. Information management
  7. Configuration management
  8. Budgeting and cost management
The home work is to set out the processes in a table and identify the steps in each process.
