We are a market leader with a large proportion of the Association of Project Management market segment, delivering the full range of their qualifications from Fundamentals to Chartered.
Reporting to the Head of Training Delivery, you will be performing the following duties:
- Leading the training delivery capability to all clients
- Delivering project management training (both in person and virtually)
- Developing and updating our accredited materials
- Working with clients to design and develop bespoke project management training courses and creating supporting materials
- Liaising with the Association of Project Management (APM)
- Providing support for business development
This is a senior role in our business; we are looking for an individual who can project the Parallel persona into the marketplace, help set the strategy and grow revenue without compromising quality.
The role calls for an individual passionate about growing, nurturing and developing people. It is anticipated that you will have a relevant technical background in the project management training market and exposure to some of our leading clients’ businesses, particularly in defence, built asset consultancy, insurance, charities, rail and energy. This is a full-time permanent role and travel around the UK and elsewhere is expected to accommodate the client’s requirements.
You will need credibility and a good academic background. It is desirable that you are educated to a degree level and possess one or more of the APM-PMQ, PRINCE2, Managing Successful Programmes, or PMI qualifications. You should ideally hold or be working towards APM ChPP. A market-leading salary is available to the successful candidate.
Essential Requirements
- Experience delivering project management training courses (internal trainer or an external training consultant)
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both face-to-face and online
- Experience in designing and developing bespoke training programmes to client requirements
- A strong focus on delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to support the promotion of Parallel’s services through the writing of blogs, recording podcasts, and delivering ‘Lunch & Learn’ workshops
- A willingness to travel to provide training programmes on client sites.
Desirable Requirements
- Member of the Association for Project Management
- Experience working with the Association for Project Management as a volunteer, trainer, SIG group member
- APM Chartered Project Professional status.
