Great training and preparation for APM exams. Have used Parallel Project Training a couple of times, with each experience being extremely positive from the training material provided, feedback on mock questions, and availability from the training team for any questions. I would recommend Parallel Project Training for project management training

About Bournemouth
Bournemouth is one of the south coast’s best-known seaside towns. It may not be as steeped in history as many other English towns, but its visitors are guaranteed a beautiful coast, sea air and pine-filled scenery. Bournemouth has been a major seaside resort ever since the railway arrived in 1870.
Because of this appeal, the town offers a wide selection of hotels, restaurants, and entertainment venues. This means that if you are visiting to attend an Association for Project Management APM accredited training course, you’ll have plenty to do between training sessions.
Getting Around Bournemouth
Central Bournemouth is compact, and walking is often the best way to explore. The main shopping streets, Bournemouth Square, Lower Gardens, the BH2 leisure area, and the seafront sit reasonably close together. Cycling is another good option for exploring, with council-operated bike-shares available across the town. Note that seasonal restrictions apply to cycling on parts of the seafront promenade during July and August but it’s still a delightful place to walk in those warmer months.
Trains are a good way to get to Bournemouth with its main railway station around a mile from the central seafront area. Direct trains connect Bournemouth with London Waterloo, Southampton, Winchester and other destinations to the east. Services also come in from further west such as Poole, Dorchester and Weymouth. The fastest London services take around 97 minutes.
While in Bournemouth, you can also hop on one of the local buses. These cover Bournemouth and the surrounding areas, including Poole, Southbourne and Christchurch. Public transport comes in handy if your hotel or course venue lies outside the immediate centre.
There’s even an airport at Bournemouth just northeast of the town but flights are mainly to and from package holiday destinations in Europe. If you do happen to be arriving from Europe by air there is a bus connection that takes you from the airport to Bournemouth railway station and the city centre on weekdays. The airport bus timetable only has a limited number of journeys, so a taxi would be more practical.
If you are driving, Bournemouth has good road links to the A31, M27, and the wider south coast. Like most cities and towns, central parking can become busy, especially during peak visitor periods, so check parking arrangements before travelling.
Famous Places and Landmarks
Bournemouth Pier is the town’s most recognisable landmark and offers wide views across the bay. The first small wooden jetty appeared in 1855, with later structures developing into the pier visitors see today.
From the pier, you can walk straight into Bournemouth Lower Gardens (Westover Road, Bournemouth BH2 5AH), which run towards the town centre and provide a pleasant route between the seafront and Bournemouth Square.
For art lovers, a visit to the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum on East Cliff Promenade, Bournemouth BH1 3AA is a must-do. The historic house contains art and collections assembled by Merton and Annie Russell-Cotes, who later gave the property and its contents to the town.

Bournemouth’s long history as a visitor destination means it has an unusually large hotel market for a town of its size. You can choose between straightforward chain accommodation, modern business hotels and higher-end properties overlooking the coast.

Entertainment
After your training, you could visit the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre. It’s a beautiful, historic theatre located at Westover Rd, Bournemouth BH1 2BU. Its selection of shows offers a bit of everything, from touring shows to live music.
Bournemouth International Centre (International Centre, Exeter Rd, Bournemouth BH2 5BH), known locally as the BIC, is a large seafront venue that can keep you entertained for days. It hosts concerts, comedy and other live events as well as conferences.
If you prefer not to make plans, head towards the beach. A walk through the Lower Gardens, along the pier and beside the sea offers one of the simplest ways to unwind after a day indoors.
