It focuses on selecting suitable uses for AI, preparing and protecting project information, giving clear instructions, and reviewing AI-supported work against project evidence and delivery needs.
This one-day, APM-accredited course will be delivered live online through MS Teams by one of our experienced tutors, with a short multiple-choice exam at the end of the day to gainthe certificate. The exam is online, lasts 30 minutes and consists of 20 multiple-choice questions; the pass mark is 75%.
AI as a project team contributor: Assess where AI may add value, choose suitable use cases, allocate tasks between people and AI, and retain human accountability.
Data readiness and information quality: Check the quality, provenance, permitteduse and security of project information before using it with AI.

Leading and improving AI-enabled project delivery: Plan inclusive adoption, assess value and unintended consequences, improve workflows through learning, and maintain professional competence.

The APM Certificate in Working with AI in Project Teams is aimed at project professionals in a range of project, programme, portfolio, PMO, sponsorship and delivery roles to work effectively with AI as a project team contributor. Project management experience or PMQ-level knowledge is required.
