Transport
Newcastle has an excellent transport network, making it very accessible for delegates. The city has a great train service and is linked directly to many big cities including London, a journey of 2 hours 50 minutes, Manchester, 2 hours 17 minutes and Edinburgh, 1 hour 23 minutes. The major road network means that Newcastle can be accessed by the A1 (M), which links it directly to London, the A69 from the west and the M6, which leads to the South, Wales and the West of England. Eight miles east of the city centre, Newcastle can also be reached by an International Ferry Terminal, which is serviced by DFDS.
