All of our courses use our Parallel Learning System. This includes study guides, online e-learning, podcasts and workshops. These learning media are aligned to work complementary to each other. They use the same structure and share case studies.

We offer a wide range of training courses for individuals. These are designed to support you as you develop your Project Management capability. Our range of courses includes:
APM Introductory Certificate
APM Introductory Certificate . This two day course is ideal for those who are new to Project Management or for team members who want to play a key role in project delivery. The course covers the language, processes and behaviours of Project Management as defined by the apm body of knowledge. The course concludes with a multiple choice Introductory Certificate examination set by the Association for Project Management. This is a one hour exam with 60 questions.
APMP Project Management Courses
The APMP is the foundation level qualification from the Association for Project Management. It is ideal for new and aspiring project managers who want to develop a strong foundation on which to build their Project Management career. The syllabus for this Project Management course is based the key topics from the apm Body of Knowledge. Currently there are two different routes to the APMP.
- A three hour written paper with 10 questions from paper with 16 questions. These questions are drawn from 37 key topics within the apm Body of Knowledge.
- APMP for PRINCE2 for those who already hold a valid PRINCE2 practitioner can take a 2 hour paper with only six questions from ten. These questions are drawn from a reduced set of 25 topics from the apm Body of Knowledge.
- APMP Distance learning course which is one of the most flexible and cost effective ways of preparing for the APMP exam. The package included a wide range of printed and on-line training resources to help you study.
- APMP Fast Track which used a blended learning approach to deliver the APMP in 3-days. This course is ideal for experienced project managers who want to acquire a professional qualification in the minimum of time.
- 5-day APMP Training Course which also includes our comprehensive pre-course learning package but a full 5-days to study the course materials and prepare for the examination. These course are highly popular and run reliably.
- APMP for PRINCE2 is available as both a 3-day fast track course and also an APMP for PRINCE2 distance learning course
APM Practitioner
The APM Practitioner Qualification is ideal for project managers who want recognition that they can demonstrate the behaviours of an effective project manager. Based on a 3 day assessment centre this evaluation of your Project Management capability against 30 criteria for effective Project Management. At the end of the course you will receive detailed feedback on your Project Management capability and indications of areas for future development. Prior to the apm PQ we strongly recommend that you attend a PQ briefing session so that you can fully understand the way in which the assessment centre operates and what behaviours you will be expected to demonstrate during the assessment centre.
APM Registered Project Professional Coaching
APM Registered Project Professional represents the highest standard for managers of complex projects. In order to meet this standard you will need to be able to demonstrate competence and capability to deliver the most complex of projects. The assessment process includes the creation of a portfolio of evidence and then a professional interview. We hold RPP workshops to help you collate and prepare your portfolio and prepare for the professional interview.
PRINCE2 Practitioner Course
PRINCE2 Practitioner is one of the most wildly recognised Project Management delivery methods. Parallel Project Training offers a 5-day prince2 course which combines both the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner Qualifications.
PMP Certification
The PMP qualification from the Project Management Institute is the worlds most widely recognised qualification. Parallel Project Training offer PMP training in London and Reading with highly experienced trainers, first class venues and high quality material.

need all of their project managers at the same level of development and
not all PM’s develop at the same speed. These two factors

Simple, effective, clear and unique training
Many of our people did not pass the APMP with another training firm. We re -entered on to the Parallel course, the book ore work supported via the podcast gave immediate benifit and confidence to the team. The course it's self were really clear, simple and focus on the right areas using the prework as the foundation.
We are all chuffed with results when they came through, the team have gained a new confidence and full understand through the Parallel approach.
This is what all training should be like!
